BOOK DESCRIPTION
Those who know Austin Lee will have no problem understanding the choice of using an unconventional format to present him. Those who are not yet familiar with the young artist will get a feel for his persona and an insight into his work methods, subjects and thoughts. Looking at the drawings you might observe some gestures or feelings that you are familiar with. Moments filled with joy, sadness and uncertainty become a major subject not only in the following drawings but also in Austin Lee’s practice. Sixty-five untitled drawings which have been made for this book, a text contribution by Joel Holmberg as well as a dialogue between Austin Lee, Kati Gegenheimer, Benedikt Wyss and Philippe Karrer make up this collaboration.
